CR046 Liebherr LTM1250 went out for the one day job, set all the modules and wrapped up for home before dark.

Safe and in control, our operations team managed this complicated project with confidence and precision – congrats on another job well done.

With the help of a well-planned and professionally executed Critical Lift Plan, our Liebherr LTM1250 300ton All-terrain crane hoisted this Wind Turbine Nacelle from the road-side ditch with the assistance of three tow trucks and a telehandler.

With an excellent track record supported by PICS, IS Networld and CANQUAL (OH&S Auditors), our safe and efficient operations team brought finished up in the dark without incident.

This hard working lady is back at it – working hard in minus 30 degrees on frozen mud in the Canadian Prairies.

She has been put through her paces, as have the top-class crew of DLB Operating Engineers, being torn down before moved 4 miles and re-assembled in just 4 days. All that in very challenging weather!

The 65 T R/T is also a real pleasure to have on site, whether making a capacity lift of a 46,000 lb mixer from Germany ( the heart of our Paste Plant) : or reaching up with all boom out to put groceries on structure .

The DLB operator Chris is a real credit , not only to his employer as a keen opearator ; but also his parents who brought up a very decent young man .

All in all, it took only 4 days to get the hook in the air for our Gleichen customers.

After guaranteeing that we would work in whatever the absolute maximum allowable wind and weather limits were in place from the manufacturers and the Jurisdictional OH&S’s rule sand regulations to get this urgent project completed for our customer, we set to it with the following lifts:

DISTRIBUTOR LIFTS – AS PER DWG 00-063-T9 (#G202 – A)

Lift 1: 21,580lbs at 147 feet elevation from grade
Lift 2: 46,660lbs at 175 feet elevation from grade
Lift 3: 32,073lbs at 205 feet elevation from grade
Lift 4: 22,179lbs at 227 feet elevation from grade
Lift 5: 26,265lbs at 246 feet elevation from grade
Lift 6: 10,645lbs at 263 feet elevation from grade

CC1500 and LTM1250 get working on the steel erection portion of this grain elevator.

After the framing went up, the machinery followed. We were complete on schedule and experienced no delays. Our machinery worked as requested and kept feeding the workers.
Withing three weeks of arriving , and after two weeks working on site, we were gone and onto the next project.
